Zinc chemicals maker headquartered in Houston, Texas, with four product lines: fine zinc powder (formerly called zinc dust), zinc oxide, zinc powders for batteries and Zano ultrafine zinc oxide. For paints and coatings it supplies zinc metal pigments for zinc-rich anticorrosion primers (85-92% zinc, giving cathodic protection to steel bridges, pipelines, wind towers, offshore rigs, ships and containers) and for mechanical plating and sherardizing, from 100,000 t/yr of fine zinc powder capacity made by atomization, Larvik and muffle processes. Its zinc oxide grades (EPM and EPM-E direct or American process, and high-purity French process) add whiteness, hiding power, UV protection, mildew resistance and acid neutralization in architectural, antifouling and steel-protection coatings. Around 800 staff at 14 facilities in the USA, Canada, Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, China and Malaysia, selling to over 50 countries. At ChinaCoat 2026 it exhibits as EverZinc Fuhong Hunan Co., Ltd. (Changsha).
