What We Collect

Public company information: company names, locations, websites, products and certifications, compiled from public sources or provided by the company.

Supplier account information: the contact name, job title, email, phone and WeChat ID given when claiming or creating a listing. These are not shown publicly.

Private business information: equipment, purchasing plans and raw materials entered in the Quality and lab section. These are not shown publicly.

Buyer inquiries: name, company, email, country and message.

Profile view counts: how many times each company page is viewed per day, as a total only, shown to that company. No IP addresses, cookies or visitor identity are recorded.

How We Use It

To run the directory, display listings, deliver inquiries, verify claims and prevent abuse. Buyer inquiries are shared with the supplier they are addressed to.

Catalog and reminders: if you tick the catalog box or subscribe, we send our quarterly pigment catalog by email (and by post if you give a postal address) and occasional sourcing reminders. We record when and where you agreed. This list is not shared with suppliers or partners, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Only if you opt in, we send offers from Pigment Directory and its partners (such as laboratory instrument and raw material suppliers), and may share your contact details and the related business information with those partners. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Where Data Is Stored

Data is stored on servers in Singapore (Supabase) and the website is hosted by Vercel. Information may be processed outside your country.

Your Rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, or to remove your company's listing, at any time. Contact hello@pigmentdirectory.com.
