Techmer PM

Producer of color and additive masterbatch for the plastics and fiber industries, founded in Los Angeles in 1981 and majority-owned by SK Capital since 2020. It runs six production sites in the United States and Mexico: Clinton, Tennessee (its largest plant, opened in 1988), Rancho Dominguez, California, Wichita, Kansas, Batavia, Illinois, Querétaro, Mexico and a fiber service center in Dalton, Georgia for the floor-coverings industry. Products include custom color masterbatch with color matching and special-effect technology, made with its Techsperse dispersion technology; liquid colorants for rigid packaging, consumer goods and automotive parts, with pearlescent, metallic, granite, sparkle and TechSplatter effects and use in PCR packaging; OptiColor custom color compounds with near-infrared, infrared and narrow-band absorbing dyes for optical filtering; additive masterbatch; and engineered compounds (Electrafil, HiFill, HiFill FR, Plaslube). Its quality system is ISO 9001 certified.
