Sicer S.p.A.

Italian maker of raw materials for the ceramic industry, founded in 1993 and based in Ubersetto di Fiorano Modenese (Modena), with a production plant in Poggio Torriana (Rimini) acquired in 2001. Its ceramic decoration pigments colour glazes, screen-printing bases and decorative materials and stay stable at firing temperatures from 800 to 1250 °C; it also supplies ceramic fluxes, metallic colours, precious metals and lustres. Other products: frits, engobes, glazes and special glazes, ceramic grits and microgrits, digital inks and glues for floor and wall tiles, big slabs and tableware. Group companies or plants in Spain (Nules, Castellón, since 2000), Indonesia (2004), Mexico (2016), India (Sicer India, from the 2019 Sol-Inks acquisition), Poland and the USA (Tennessee plant, 2023).
