Japanese maker of organic pigments and processed pigments, established in 1963, specialising in functional pigment dispersions made with its own micro-particle, dispersion and stabilisation technology. Head office and factory in Himeji (Hyogo), sales office in Tokyo and a technical lab at the University of Tokyo's Komaba research campus. Fields named on its site: colour filters, inkjet printers, stationery, paper, paints and cosmetics, plus lithium-ion battery materials; it also offers titanium oxide dispersions, prototypes and contract processing. ISO 9001 certified. Affiliates: Nanotech Mikuni (Pyeongtaek, Korea), Changshu Mikuni Chemical (Changshu, China) and Mikuni Color U.S.A. (West Sacramento, CA).
