Dutch maker of colorants and additive concentrates for plastics, coatings and coated fabrics, headquartered in Apeldoorn and founded in 1979. Its best-known product is Holcobatch, a low-dust masterbatch in which pigments are encapsulated in a bio-based carrier. For coatings it makes liquid colorants: Holcolex universal tinting colorants for waterborne and solvent-borne decorative coatings, Holcolac highly pigmented colorants for industrial coatings, and Holcolac CC for concrete flooring. Markets on its site: packaging, building and construction (rigid and flexible PVC), coatings, sealants and adhesives, and PU/PVC coated fabrics. The company says it makes almost all of its products itself at four main plants in the Netherlands, Hungary, the United States and Indonesia (Surabaya), with sales and small-scale production in the UK, Mexico, Canada and Jakarta.
