Harold Scholz & Co. GmbH (Scholz Farbpigmente)

German family business founded in 1902 that trades and produces colour pigments and pigment preparations, selling to more than 85 countries. Some of its pigments are made in its own plants (Recklinghausen and Partenstein); it also has a long partnership with Bayer/LANXESS for synthetic iron oxides. The range covers iron oxide, titanium dioxide, carbon black, chromium oxide, zinc ferrite, mixed-phase, organic and ultramarine pigments, supplied as powder, micronised powder, granules, compact pigment, slurry or pigment preparations, for concrete and building materials, paints and coatings, plastics and rubber, paper, textiles and technical uses. It also offers dosing systems and application support and has over 200 staff in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Austria.
