German family business, now in its fifth generation, making aluminium and bronze powders, pastes and pigments in Roth. Its history page traces it to bronze powder production started in 1907 by Konrad Grimm in Eckersmühlen; the company (the bronze factory Eckersmühlen GmbH, founded 1924, at Am Wasserturm 1 in Roth since 1954) became GRIMM Metallpulver GmbH after 2004. Products: aluminium powders, aluminium pastes (in glycol alcohols or other solvents), aluminium flakes, and coarser effect pigments of aluminium, bronze and copper (rich gold, pale gold, English green, lemon, fine gold, copper, flame red and other shades) and bronze powders for paints, inks, lacquers, plastics, paper and textile finishing. EXPANDIT and OPTONIT aluminium grades are used as functional additives in aerated concrete and dry-mix mortar. ISO 9001:2015.
