Frilvam

Italian masterbatch maker founded in Milan in 1948, making coloured masterbatches since 1978 and focused on masterbatch since 1991. Makes white (PRISMA WHITES), black (PRISMA BLACKS, incl. UV-resistant and food-contact grades), colour and special-effect (PRISMA COLORS, matched to RAL and Pantone or tailor-made), BOPP, biodegradable (PRISMA BIO) and additive masterbatches for moulding, extrusion, film and blow moulding. Its Color Development Center supplies a formula and sample of a requested colour within 24 hours. About 18,000 t/year from 30 extruders and around 100 staff at three sites: Nerviano (MI, main plant, 15,000 t/year, chemical lab and regulatory department), Speedy Master in Formigine (Modena, tailor-made colours, since 2004) and Frilvam France in Scientrier (since 2003, colours and additives on PE/PP/PS and engineering-plastic carriers). Sells to about 50 countries; ISO 9001.
