Delta Tecnic

Spanish masterbatch maker and trading company. Founded in 1982 as exclusive distributor of Cabot products; in 1989 it set up its Deltacolor division to make colour and additive masterbatch for the cable and PVC industries. Masterbatch lines (DELTAPLAST, DELTAVINIL) cover PVC, PE, EVA, TPU, PBT, TPE-E, EPDM/EPR, PA and fluoropolymer (ETFE/FEP) cables for automotive, energy, telecom and special cables, plus colour masterbatch for rigid PVC profiles, calendered sheets and flooring, pipes and hoses, black PVC masterbatch, conductive PVC compounds and additive masterbatch (laser marking, AO/UV, biocide). Its trading arm distributes pigments, plastics additives and cosmetic ingredients from other makers (e.g. Cabot, Eckart). It states 20,000 m² of facilities and about 200 staff. Head office and plant in Sant Celoni (Barcelona); a second production plant and warehouse opened in 2021 in Pedro Escobedo, Querétaro, Mexico.
